This book picks up right where Volume 1 left off. This story keeps getting better. The characters in this story are so well developed and the story is just riveting. Rebecca finds out that Nicholas must marry Allison or lose everything he holds dear. You can almost feel the tangible pain that both Rebecca and Nicholas are feeling. Some heavy choices have to be made. Will Nicholas follow his heart or will he give in to the pressure that his family is placing on him? Will he be able to break through the walls Rebecca has placed around herself? I can't wait for the next book to be released. Ms. Booke has definitely left us with a cliffhanger.
